Risk & Safety Engineer( Principle/ Lead)
Responsibilities:
- To provide risk safety and loss prevention services to the various clients.
- Clients can be internal business units or external clients.
- To be responsible to the performance of projects assigned to both in terms of technical capability and also commercial performance of the project.
- To promote company Safety & Risk Management to clients to achieve follow-on work with existing clients and new work with prospective clients.
- Specific Accountabilities
- Hazard and Risk Management.
- To identify the safety engineering scope of work from basis of design.
- To be able to determine and estimate norms to conduct the scope of work.
- To be able to raise a suite of project deliverables including procedures, design basis and execution plan & schedules of activities.
- Network and inter-discipline departments. Interface management with the client.
- Conduct HAZID workshops.
- Lead HAZOP workshops.
- Safety Review.
- Fire & Explosion Analysis.
- Loss Prevention related studies.
- Formal Safety Assessments.
- Safety Critical Element & Performance Standards.
- QRA.
- Safety Case.
- Reliability Studies, including FMEA and RAM.
- SIL Assessments.
- Design Requirements for Safety Systems.
- Design Safety Reviews / Studies, Layout, EERA, ESSA, F&G, Dropped Object, Hazardous Area.
- Active Fire Protection Design (or knowledge of).
- Passive Fire Protection Design (or knowledge of).
- Ability to identify and raise suite of project procedures & deliverables.
- CTR Management & progress reporting, Estimation of work scopes & CTR.
- To Determine the Major Accident Hazard events and to apply a formalised approach of hazard management to identify and provide means of mitigation and reduction of such hazards.
- To take ownership of and provide direction to engineers through ability to prepare and author full suite of project safety deliverables.
- Manage a team of professional and technical people.
- Act as mentor to graduates, technicians and technical specialists.
- Liaise with the local community and other stakeholders on all consulting matters.
- Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Safety & Risk Department
Requirements:
- 8-15 Years Minimum.
- Engineering related BSc.
Senior Marine Engineer (Ref: EP0911692)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Civil & Structural designs, drawings and contract specifications of maritime structures.
- Assist Project Manager in tendering, evaluations and coordination with other disciplines.
- Liaise with Clients and local authorities for project related matters and requirements.
- Ensure implementation and practice of personal safety and safe working practices in accordance with company OH&S procedures within the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in the design and documentation of maritime structures including ports & harbors, jetties, breakwater, coastal protection, etc
- Able to undertake technical supervision of construction works and resolve construction related engineering matters.
Subsea Pipeline Engineers (Ref: EP0911691)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare calculations, prepare reports and specifications for offshore pipeline and subsea and hydrocarbons projects as directed by the Supervisor/Line Manager
- Participate in project construction review and engineering assignments.
- Conceptual and detailed engineering.
- Materials Technology and specifications.
- MTO, Cost estimate and project management
- Up to date knowledge and experience with the offshore oil and gas industry with about 6 years of relevant experience
- Liaise with other discipline designers and engineers
- Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the company Quality Assurance system.
- Safety – Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices.
- Understand and follow OH&S procedures
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications and at least 6 years experience in conceptual studies, FEED, detailed design and construction management, of which at least 3 years in the oil and gas industry within the offshore Subsea pipeline industry.
- Proven ability to work with a minimal supervision.
- Ability and willingness to meet agreed deadlines.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness and ability to work as part of team.
- Well developed report writing skills.
Consultant – Power (EP0911690)
Requirements:
- Lead and participate in delivery of multiple consulting services projects serving power sector clients such as project developers, investors, financial institution and regulators.
- Develop project / consulting services proposals and supporting workflow documentation.
- Manage delivery of services within budget, agreed timeframe and high quality standards.
- Manage client relationship and expectations during the services delivery.
- Support the business development and marketing (internal & external) efforts occasionally.
- Drive improvements in processes, tools, systems and databases to support the growing team.
- Contribute to industry & thought leadership articles for internal and external audience.
- Execute feasibility studies, market studies, technology assessments.
- Lead or Provide project coordination and project management support for project delivery.
- Assist in preparation of proposals for the above.
