BONTANG RELIABILITY MANAGER
BASIC JOB PURPOSE
- To lead the Reliability and Maintenance areas of the Bontang Ammonium Nitrate facility
- Lead, manage and develop the Reliability team within the Ammonium Nitrate Complex
- Develop, implement, manage and maintain the maintenance and reliability strategies and plans for the Bontang Ammonium Nitrate facility.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company engineering standards.
- Support the objectives of safety, reliability, quality, production uptime, and people involvement/development as a key member of the Bontang Site Management Team.
- Provide direction and management of solutions to immediate and longer-term reliability, plant integrity, safety, and environmental opportunities and issues on the Ammonium Nitrate Complex.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED (include desirable time span)
- Substantial experience (15+ yrs) in a variety of roles including design, commissioning, project management, plant engineering, plant maintenance, plant shutdown and production, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Direct involvement (5+ years) in Plant Integrity management.
- Direct involvement in the implementation and management of a comprehensive reliability system and supporting software (for Bontang: SAP PM).
- Desirably 10 yrs + working in a Chemicals industry (or associated industries) as a Reliability or Maintenance Manager
- Proven knowledge in Reliability and Maintenance Engineering principles and their implementation
- Ideally knowledge of the Nitric Acid and Ammonium Nitrate manufacturing process
- HAZOP evaluation and CHAZOP evaluation
- Excellent communication and management skill and Full understanding of Indonesian employment regulations and their application
- Strong teamwork, coaching, motivating and development skills.
FORMAL EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Honors preferred).
- Post Graduate qualifications in Maintenance Management.
- Other post Graduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
