Mining Project Head
(Kalimantan Timur – Balikpapan)
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve high standard safety behavior & outcomes
- Lead the Project Group and develop the capability of team members
- Develop/implement/maintain Project Standard Operations Procedures
- Supervise individual Project Heads to ensure fully prepared Project Execution Plans in accordance with Standard Operations Procedures Supervise delivery of Projects in accordance with the agreed Project Execution Plan
- Supervise presentation of Projects progress to monthly Coal Project Meeting
- Prepare and deliver senior management Project presentations and budget applications to BOD as required
- Supervise recruitment & training of future Operations team
- Supervise to support development of Operational Standard Operations Procedures
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant construction discipline e.g. in Engineering (Structural / Mechanical), Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
- At least 20 years experience in the construction management of infrastructure projects: Truck haul roads, Coal crushing and handling plants, Port facilities, Site buildings, power supply and water supply etc
- Direct coal mine construction management would be highly regarded
- Good skills in Microsoft Office software essential, and in specialist Project Management software well regarded
- Excellent oral and written English skills
- High integrity
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to build & develop teams
- Able to manage to tight deadlines & work under pressure
- Prepared to work in Indonesia and travel extensively to Project sites throughout the country
